Hey!

So a little bit about our newest project “Across the Stars CoOperate Orchestra for Sanctuary For Kids” !

Along with my fellow students from I.J.Paderewski Academy of Music, we are preparing a concert under the title “Across the Stars – CoOperate Orchestra for Sanctuary For Kids”. We are going to perform Star Wars Suite by John Williams for symphony orchestra and The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams for violin solo and symphony orchestra. CoOperate is an orchestra made of students of our Academy, conducted also by a very talented student and personally my good friend, Adam Domurat.

The concert will take place on 30th of March in I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music “Aula Nova” Concert Hall. At the beginning of the concert I will present to the audience a short presentation about Sanctuary For Kids, which has been prepared by the members of Small Pebbles and translated into Polish by me.

Currently, we are in rehearsals, trying to put together a very difficult but incredibly beautiful John Williams’ music. Even though it’s a hard work, everyone is enjoying it a lot!
We decided that the concert will be 100 % free – no tickets, just a free-will donation after the concert. There will be special boxes set in the concert hall and the foyer. Also all the members of the orchestra ( over 50 people) and all the technicians that are helping us are doing it for free and out of their own good will! I couldn’t be more grateful because without them the project would be impossible to organize.
